Time for a Short Pause...




Time to take a beat. A pause. A breath. So much mindfulness is needed now. Now. It’s time to be still. It’s time to listen. Tune in to the pulse, the heartbeat. What do you notice?


I have a tendency to forget. Forget what I am doing, where I am going, who I am, what I want. It is so easy to get caught up in all the things, there are distractions and temptations everywhere. They pull us away from us. This is their purpose. They are not bad, they just are.


It’s okay to play, it is the coming back home to Self that can be difficult to remember when we are out playing much too long. It can feel like it takes much effort to return, but no, not really…all it takes is a true pause, a full breath, a moment of stillness in the now.


I have allowed myself to be distracted over the last, oh, say….46 years or so…it has been fun to be “gone” and stop in to visit myself now and again.


Today, now, is feeling like a pretty perfect time to be in stillness and remember, reorientate, reacquaint myself with MySelf again. It shall be plentiful.


Encouraging you all to take your own beat, pause, breath, moments of stillness. Come back on home to YourSelf, they miss your presence. The distractions will wait for you and always be there.
